Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher to develop computational models of signalling pathways involved in synaptic ageing and Alzheimer Disease. This modelling activity will be developed within the framework of the European project AgedBrainSYSBIO. This project aims at linking Genome Wide Association studies, Protein-Protein Interaction networks and functional studies in order to understand better the basis of the disease and propose new avenues for treatments. The post-holder will work in collaboration with the other members of the group. Several types of mathematical modelling techniques will be used. Relevant experience with computational models of signalling pathways or metabolic networks is required.

Salary range Â£28409 to Â£31565 per annum.
