Endodiag vision is that we can radically change the lives of millions of women suffering from endometriosis through earlier and easier diagnosis and radically improved disease management. We develop new endometriosis diagnostic solutions for healthcare professionals. These solutions are intended to contribute to a better endometriosis diagnosis, a more personalized patient management, more efficient treatment options and fertility strategy. Endometriosis affects 10% of all women of reproductive age and generates a diversity of severe but non-specific symptoms (pain, bleeding, infertility, fatigue...).

Job description
As a data scientist, you will be supervised by the company’s senior data scientist and attached to the R&D team.
Your main missions will be the following:

  • Develop data management solutions: data visualization and data centralization
  • Crossed data analysis combining electronic clinical questionnaires with experimental data obtained from endometrium and blood samples
  • Support and guidance on statistics to the other members of the R&D team

Profile description
You have an engineer degree or a doctorate in applied mathematics or informatics with a specialization in bioinformatics or biostatistics or data science

Essential requirements:

  • A preliminary experience (internship, PhD or employee) in statistical analysis of experimental data from high-throughput technologies such as genomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics or proteomics
  • Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in applied mathematics and statistics (optimization and classification methods, machine learning techniques, …)
  • Proficient programming with R (Python or Matlab also accepted)
  • Strong will to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Curiosity, creativity, autonomy, team spirit
  • Intellectual interest for biomedical problematics
  • Professionally fluent in English

Additional requirements:

  • Previous experience in biomarker discovery
  • Skills in medical image analysis
