We are looking for a highly motivated scientist who has research background and expertise in a number of areas of Computational Biology, including protein modelling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations and experience in computational protein design would be a plus.

A biology background and a sound understanding of protein modelling and protein-ligand interactions are required.

The perspective researcher will have the opportunity to work on a very exciting project that aims at offering novel solutions for plastics recycling based on the development enzyme-based bioprocesses through multidisciplinary approaches combining tightly computational and experimental work.  The project involves the Laboratoire d’Ingénierie des Systèmes Biologiques et des Procédés /Biosystems and Process Engineering Laboratory (LISBP, INSA, CNRS, INRA) and CARBIOS, a company specialized in biorecycling of plastic wastes (http://www.carbios.fr/).

The position is available from January 1st, 2019 for a duration of one year (with possibility of renewal upon funding). The position will be based at the LISBP in Toulouse, France.
