Description

We are looking for a motivated Post-doctoral Research Scientist in bioinformatics/omics/systems biology to join the group of Systems Toxicology led by K. Audouze,under the MetaTox team (X. Coumoul), Inserm Unit 1124 (R. Barouki) at the Université de Paris (Paris, France, https://systox.u-paris-sciences.fr/ ).

The group works in bioinformatics, and its specialized in the development of innovative and new methods and models with the aim to have a better understanding of the effect from the chemical exposure on human health. The postdoctoral candidate will work on omics data analysis (metabolomics and transcriptomics), and will develop cross-omics models.

The candidate will have the opportunity to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment, to interact with national and international scientists across disciplines, including molecular biology and data science. The candidate is expected to be involved in several projects, national (ANR) and international (H2020 OBERON, https://oberon-4eu.com/ ).

Qualifications:

You will have a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology or modelling with a solid background in biology or toxicology, that may not have been completed since more than five years. You will need a strong track record in omics data analysis, cross-omics modeling, programing skills (R, python, ...), as well as excellent communication and organization skills. You have good written and spoken English skills (French is not mandatory).
