To strengthen the R&D labs within our company, we are looking for a:

SENIOR BIOSTATISTICIAN (M/W/D)

Job description

Under the responsibility of the Head of IT & Bioinformatic, your missions will be to:

  • Manage the team of biostatisticians (task planning and priority assessment)
  • Prepare, verify and approve statistical analysis programs
  • Ensure the validity and robustness of the results
  • Communicate, discuss and interpret statistical results from proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and imaging data
  • Participate in submission activities (call for proposals, regulatory procedures, etc.)
  • Contribute to the statistical deliverables of the project such as protocols, statistical analysis plan, reports and presentations of results, according to agreed deadlines and quality standards
  • Develop statistical methods (based on supervised clustering, Machine Learning or AI) and supervise the programming part of the statistical analyses on the derived data set (Python and R language)
  • Support the implementation of an IT infrastructure that provides easy and rapid access to proprietary and public data, information and knowledge related to the biomarker qualification process
  • Optimize biomarker models taking into account the availability and performance of biomarker tests
  • Coordinate study operations, review and interpretation of results based on the state of the art

 

Your profile

  • PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics or any related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in biostatistics and programming
  • Strong knowledge and implementation of statistical methodology
  • Proven programming experience in Python and R (any other language would be considered an asset)
  • Ability to manage a team and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Scientific English (spoken, read and written)
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge in the field of neurodegenerative, inflammatory and cardiovascular diseases would be a plus
