Description
ABOUT THE GHENT UNIVERSITY DIGITAL PCR CONSORTIUM (DIGPCR)
DIGPCR is an interfaculty consortium of Ghent University researchers focusing on digital PCR method development and applications. DIGPCR pioneered the use of digital PCR (dPCR) in many applications, from pathogen detection to oncology. We continuously explore novel data analysis methods to enable a data driven analysis of dPCR data. For the vacancy, we are collaborating with Stilla Technologies. This company developed a six-color digital PCR instrument that enables the detection of a high number of nucleic acid targets in a single sample. Now, we aim to develop a method to automate partition clustering in a six-dimensional data frame and enable a comprehensive and easy-to-understand visualizations of the dPCR output for the end-user.
