My partner is a clinical late-stage biotech company defining the data placing the Data in the heart of the strategy.

To strengthen the R&D team, we are recruiting a Senior Biomarker Biostatistician - Diagnosis.

MISSIONS:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Define the methodological framework of the projects in collaboration with your manager;

- Analyze and process clinical data, including biomarkers;

- Develop, adapt or apply different Machine Learning algorithms;

- Present your analysis results both at internal company meetings and to external partners;

- Write statistical analysis reports and participate in the writing of scientific articles, abstracts and posters;

- Ensure the proper execution of projects on time by assuming a position of project leader;

- Ensure a bibliographic watch and guarantee its integration in the work in progress with regard to their relevance.

PROFILE :

- You hold preferably a PhD. Or Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science or Mathematics, and have at least 3 years of experience in the field of R&D in biostatistics, with a particular focus on modelling/diagnosis, preferably in the field of biomarkers;

- During your experiences, you have been able to develop strong knowledge in the fields of algorithms, variable selection and statistical modeling (unsupervised classification, linear regressions, penalized regressions, random forest, SVM, etc.) ;

- You master the R language, as well as the RStudio environment;

- Knowledge of Git and RMarkdown would be a plus;

- Knowledge of Python and LaTex, as well as knowledge of biology, would be a plus;

- You have already had the opportunity to fully manage a project and a set of associated statistical analyzes and are comfortable with changes in priorities and/or objectives;

- You have already been involved in the development and writing of scientific articles;

- French and English fluently both in writing and orally;

- With good interpersonal skills, you have a taste for teamwork;

- Curious and autonomous, you have an appetite for research, the application of statistics in the medical field and the resolution of complex problems. You are able to understand the problems encountered with pragmatism and precision.
