Data Engineer Position at NeuroSpin, CEA, Paris-Saclay University, France
Location
NeuroSpin is France’s main research center for innovation in brain imaging technologies.
NeuroSpin is part of the CEA research institute and member of the Paris-Saclay university
ranked 13 at the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities .
We are looking for a data engineer (with some overlap with data scientist) to organize and
perform processing of multi-modal (OMICs, brain imaging, clinical (electronic) Case Report
Form (eCRF), etc.) of three large scale projects:
•2019-2024: PsyCARE (RHU). Preventing psychosis through personalized care. PI: MO
Krebs, WP leader: E Duchesnay, team budget: 715k€.
•2022-2026: FAME (RHU). Improving FAMily members’ Experience in the ICU. PI: E
Azoulay, WP leader: E Duchesnay, team budget: 547k€.
•2018-2023: R-LiNK (H2020-SC1-2017, 754907). Optimizing response to Li treatment
through personalized evaluation of individuals with bipolar I disorder: the R-LiNK
initiative. PI: F. Bellivier, WP leader: E Duchesnay and leader for the CEA, team
budget: 800k€.
•2020-2025: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chair. Big2small Transfer Learning from Big data
to Small Data: Leveraging Psychiatric Neuroimaging Biomarkers Discovery. PI: E
Duchesnay, budget: 543k€.
Mission
The mission is divided into four stages:
1. Organization of a multi-modal database: Integration of OMICs, neuroimaging and
clinical data (eCRF) from PsyCARE and FAME project in Neurospin central database.
2. Pre-processing and quality control of OMICs and neuroimaging data.

Candidate's profile
• Master 2 bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics or signal/image
processing
• Skilled in Python language or eager to learn Python.
• Organizational skills, enthusiasm and desire to learn.
