Description

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong expertise in bioinformatics and a high interest in molecular biology. The researcher will work within the framework of the SeedUTail ANR project, coordinated by the Dr Hélène Zuber, which aims to explore the mechanisms underlying mRNA uridylation in maturing seeds. The researcher will develop new analytical pipelines to analyse Nanopore sequencing data and will perform the analyses of NGS data generated throughout the project.

Your profile

  • An excellent PhD degree in bioinformatics or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the analysis of NGS sequencing data and good mastery of the related bioinformatics tools.
  • Demonstrated programming skills in R other programming languages such as Python.
  • Good knowledge and explicit interest in molecular biology
  • An experience in plant research is not required but welcomed.
  • Outstanding curiosity, critical thinking, and team spirit
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
