Description

We are seeking candidates for two exciting PhD positions at the University of Bern (Switzerland) focused on the integration of mechanistic and deep learning models to understand cardiometabolic diseases:

While the PhD will be embedded at the University of Bern, this opportunity involves strong collaboration with the newly founded Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at Yale University (https://medicine.yale.edu/biomedical-informatics-data-science/). In particular, regular visits and internships at Yale are envisioned within this PhD program.
