Description

Are you passionate about predictive modeling and applying advanced computational approaches to unravel complex biological and medical problems? If yes, this internship opportunity is for you! We are seeking a motivated and talented intern to join our research and innovation team for a 6-month period starting in early 2026.

Working closely with our scientific experts, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of novel computational approaches, with a particular emphasis on building static networks, developing predictive models for clinical and biological applications, exploring dynamic inference methods to capture evolving processes, and applying hybrid modeling strategies that integrate data-driven and mechanistic approaches to complex biological systems. During your internship you will be actively involved in the full research cycle: literature review, model design, data integration and analysis, validation, interpretation, and dissemination of results.

We are looking for:

  • Master’s student in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field – (Master 1 not accepted)
  • Experience in programming using Python, R, or other languages.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience or strong interest in predictive modelling.
  • Interest in complex biological systems (genetics, epigenetics, molecular biology, physiopathology).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to generate and test novel hypotheses.
  • Excellent communication and pitching capacity.
