Description

Job description

The CRCL new Computational Biology department develops innovative systems biology services for the analysis of biological bigdata and modelling biological processes. It helps and supports research teams in their R&D, from the very early stages right through to clinical trials, by proposing optimal solutions and the rational design of new experiments based on simulations.

Mission

As a computational biologist trainee, you will be analyzing the dynamics of single cell dataset (CellPainting) for circadian modeling on cell cultures. This will involve designing machine learning analysis for a large multivariate dataset, in R or python. You will also work closely with the research team on the biological interpretation.

Profile required

We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering or a Masters in bioinformatics or data analysis. Curiosity and a taste for transdisciplinarity will be highly appreciated.

Skills required

Systems skills (Unix)
Good knowledge of Python or R
Good knowledge of multivariate statistics / machine learning
Fluency in scientific English, both written and read
