Job description

The CRCL new Computational Biology department develops innovative systems biology services for the analysis of biological bigdata and modelling biological processes. It helps and supports research teams in their R&D, from the very early stages right through to clinical trials, by proposing optimal solutions and the rational design of new experiments based on simulations.

Mission

As a computational biologist trainee, you will be working on scRNAseq dataset to better understand cell fate in neuroblastoma in the computational biology department. For this you will work in close collaboration with another research team in CRCL.

Profile required

We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering or a Masters in bioinformatics or data analysis. Curiosity and a taste for transdisciplinarity will be highly appreciated.

Skills required

Systems skills (Unix)
Good knowledge of Python
Working knowledge of multivariate statistics
Some understanding of molecular biology and cancer
Fluency in scientific English, both written and read

Anticipated internship date: 6 months from February 2027.
