Genomic WES Infection Pediatric SBI

Description

The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for pursuing the analysis of data from a research project focused on the identification of clinical, genetic, and immunological factors involved in the development of severe bacterial infections (SBI) in pediatrics. This mission will focus primarily on the bioinformatics and genomics component of the IBSoFACTo project. The work will be carried out in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of specialists in immunology, pediatrics, infectiology, genomics, and bioinformatics. The IBSoFACTO project aims to identify the genetic and immunological factors underlying severe bacterial infections (SBI) in pediatrics. It relies on a large cohort of children to perform exome sequencing and clinical phenotype analyses, with the aim of improving the screening and management of these pathologies. Ultimately, the results could lead to the development of an early genetic screening score for at-risk children.
